Andy stops in to discuss what he has done with his degree in Geology thus far and how he plans on using it as a foundation into engineering. Andy has worked at Indiana Department of Transportation (InDoT), and Indiana Department of Environmental Management. He now has returned to Purdue to pursue a degree in Engineering. Andy explains the geology of the Kentland meteor impact site, what geologists working for the state do, and some of the factors that go to road building. We also discussed the impact of groundwater on roads, landfills, and other environmental structures.
